Photo: My first hollyhock flower

Grown from seed from the Howick Historical Village.  Photo taken yesterday.

Beautiful, eh!

    1. I’m not sure – I think it varies over the year. But every time I’ve looked there (which hasn’t been terribly often) they’ve had the hollyhocks. I’m just waiting now for the next plants to flower. The flower spikes are starting to grow. The one in the photo grew taller than our fence, and I left it to seed (so my fingers are crossed for more of the same colour!)
