PC#1 – Spring in Wellington

Photos from Week 1 with the theme “Spring in Wellington”

These photos were taken around my house, with a couple of exceptions. All taken with my basic mobile phone camera without any zoom (it pixelates – sigh), fancy stuff or editing.

Rain and wind are typical of Wellington in Spring (I’m especially proud of the rain drop!)

Daffodils and Spring go together like, um, daffodils and Spring?!

Gorgeous azaleas near my work. One of my favourite flowers.

Kowhai is quintessential New Zealand Spring. The Silver Birch next to it has lovely bright leaves.

More rain (I couldn’t get a good photo of the wind).

Morris dancing at the Spring market day. (Don’t make too many rude comments, my hubby is in there!)

The obligatory, if somewhat fuzzy, blossom photo. Pear blossom, if you’re curious.

So week one is done 🙂

Next week = Illumination

The week after that = Decay
