PC#6 – Tree & Leaf

Another catch-up. This was not a great week for photos – second week of the school holidays, just back from a family holiday, completely out of routine and coming down with a cold… I missed more than one day and took crappy shots on others. In honesty and humility, here goes:

Late night shot of an indoor palm

Not-quite-so-late-night shot of my favourite indoor plant: my fiscus

Sunlight through Japanese maple leaves – my favourite for the week. I really like how the sunlight distorts the already exuberant colour.

Confession; the next three shots were all taken on the same day, as I walked to the railway station after work.

Large tree in an inner-city garden (in fact, I think the tree IS the garden!)

Pohutukawa tree outside Old St Paul’s. [Note for non-Wellingtonians: new St Paul’s is a street over – and is genuinely much newer]
Cabbage trees all in a row outside the National Archives
