PC#7 – Lines

I enjoyed this theme. It lent itself to some creativity – which is largely the point of this whole exercise!

BTW this current week’s theme is “Weeds” (sorry for the late notice)

Next week, the theme will be “Structure”.

Once again, these are all unedited shots taken on my mobile phone with “manual zoom” (i.e. if you want a close-up, move closer!)…

Detail of the Annunciation by Crivelli, 1486. I love the strong perspective lines in this painting, and couldn’t resist playing with it by taking this shot on an angle. This print hangs in our hallway.
Train lines for a visual pun…
Lines of the canopy of a building near my work
Some very Wellington lines – trolley bus wires
I love when I can make the ordinary beautiful: sunlight on the inside of our garage door (this week’s favourite for me)
Road markings in a supermarket carpark
Last shot for this week: a deck with many lines at Brookfield Scout Camp, site of the Wellington Folk Festival.

Still two more weeks worth of photos to catch up with before we’re back up to date… and maybe a written post sometime soon, too 🙂
