Peacock feathers

I had to share this stunning image of a peacock’s feather under the microscope. Just too glorious!

Peacock feather under a microscope - this is not beadwork but I can imagine these colors/texture stitched together in spiral seed bead work. The image breaks the palette down very nicely

I love both microscopic images and aerial (or even space) photography: both ways of looking are not what you see in everyday life. I find that change of perspective and view rather inspirational.

In everyday life, you can trying look beyond and beneath to get hints of this perspective shift: what’s under the grass? What’s beyond those buildings? It’s amazing what you can see when you take the time to look a little further 🙂
