Delightful distractions

This is not the blog post I intended to write tonight!

I got distracted by sussing out journal options for the 2015 Documented Life Project (DLP) and have just spent the last hour happily occupied exploring art supplies websites – oops! (If you are interested, some of my finds have made their way on to this Pinterest Board)

I do love art supplies, and browsing art supply shops. The smell of pens, the colours of paints and pencils, the feel of crisp paper, the fascinating supplies that you wonder what they’re used for… it all overflows with potential waiting to happen ❤

Just tonight, I have developed a particular fondness for Gordon Harris Ltd, one of my local suppliers: so many lovely things to choose from (my shopping cart overfloweth!) And how will I choose which colour(s) of these pens to buy?! (Suggestions welcome – but I can’t afford to buy, or store, all of them 😉 )

I stopped browsing art supplies for a long time, because I’d convinced myself I wasn’t an artist and it wasn’t worth bothering… I’m so glad I’ve realised otherwise 🙂

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, I’m inclining towards this as my journal for the DLP. These are also tempting, but I think the paper may be a bit lightweight…
