An invitation

Hello there, my lovely readers (I still can’t believe there’s so many of you!)

I would like to invite you – yes, you – to contribute a guest post to this blog.

While I welcome any topic that has something to do with the general theme of the creative life, right now I’d be especially interested in your thoughts on this time of year (let’s call it “The Season”)

• How do you manage your creative life through the holidays? Or don’t you?!
• Do you have a particular love or loathing of the holiday season? Why?
• Is there a favourite memory you’d like to share?
• Or your ideas for making this time more meaningful or more creative?

Don’t feel tied to the usual prose blog post format – poetry, art, photos, quotes and quips (and anything else you can think of) are all welcome. And it doesn’t have to be long (but it’s okay if it is).

Do put ‘guest post’ or ‘the season’ in the subject line, so I can spot it easily.

We’re running Microsoft here, so if you’re sending attachments… doc, docx, jpeg or rtf are all good. Please no pdfs – they don’t load up well…

And remember to let me know your preferred name and any links to your website/s, so you get proper credit and some advertising 😉

I do have one contribution already (which is what triggered this idea) and I will make one myself, so you won’t be alone.

I start posting this series next week, so have some fun thinking over the weekend.
