Offical hiatus

Hi everyone

Just to let you know that I’m officially taking a break from blogging and computer stuff for a couple of months.

Instead of spending hours online I’m going to be spending time with my family, doing some travelling, and doing some thinking about what to do with this blog (if you have any thoughts about this, please let me know in the comments – I do want to post to suit my readers!) and some other stuff, too.

To acknowledge the changing times, here’s the last pics from my photo commute:

Photo commute – mega bumper edition

We’re almost at the end of my Photo commute pics… in this mega-bumper edition, texture and concrete seem to be commmon themes.

(BTW the Zealandia photos were all taken on the same day, otherwise the usual rules apply.)

Photo commute – urban2

Time for some more photos. Given I finished my regular snapping a while back, these aren’t new shots: I think they were taken back in March… (yep, I’ve still got some catching up to do!)  These were all taken near my workplace in central Wellington.

Photo commute – Palmerston North Library

A while back, I spent the weekend in the Manawatu. I was quite taken with the urban landscape around the Palmerston North City Library – it has a fascinating range of building styles and public art in just a small space. Here’s a few pics taken quickly in passing:

Photo commute – texture & line

These photos come from looking up, down and around. There’s a wealth of beauty and possibility all around us – the art is in the looking…

Photo commute – February’s over!

Where the heck did the last month go?! Apologies for the delay in scheduled services!

I have plans for a few wordy posts on stash-busting and de-cluttering and other things; but in the meantime, here’s some more photos to keep you going:
